About Me
Sophie Schieve graduated in May 2023 from Georgia College & State University with a B.A. in mass communication, with a concentration in Digital Media and Film and a minor in Women’s and Gender studies. Over her four years at GCSU, Schieve has worked on a variety of film and video projects as well as mastered the arts of graphic design and brand marketing. She was a regular volunteer for GC360, the university’s student-run television broadcast news organization, where she started as a reporter and camera operator, and ended her senior year as director. After graduation, Schieve enrolled in the University of Georgia’s M.F.A. in film and television, where she had continued to hone her skills as a filmmaker. She will graduate in August of 2025. Upon graduation, she hopes to continue building upon her digital media content production and leadership skills.
